The North Country Trail is a long-distance hiking trail in the Midwestern and Northeastern United States. The trail extends roughly 4,800 miles from Lake Sakakawea State Park in North Dakota to the Appalachian Trail in Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont, passing through eight states along its route.

The Little Miami Scenic Trail, a paved rail-trail popular with cyclists, hikers, and runners. Locally known as the Loveland Bike Trail, this route has become a vital part of the city’s identity, drawing outdoor enthusiasts and contributing to Loveland’s appeal as a trail-friendly destination. Loveland has embraced its trail-related identity, with numerous bike shops, cafes, and pubs located in the downtown area.

Milford

Milford, Ohio, is a historic city located along the Little Miami River in southwestern Ohio, just northeast of Cincinnati. Founded in 1796, Milford grew around a strategic river crossing and became an early settlement thanks to its position on the Little Miami River and proximity to Cincinnati. The city played an important role in regional trade and milling during the 19th century.

Morrow

Morrow, Ohio is a small village in Warren County whose history and identity are closely tied to transportation corridors and waterways. Founded in the mid-19th century along the Little Miami Railroad, Morrow developed at the confluence of the Little Miami River and Todd Fork, a location that earlier supported mills and river commerce. This meeting of river, creek, and rail made Morrow a natural stopping point for settlement and trade, shaping the village’s layout and long-term growth.
